about the Capabilities development Committee

The Capabilities Development Committee is responsible for devel-
oping training programmes to help elevate the knowledge base and
professionalism of the Thai MICE industry. TICA’s educational pro-
gramme receives support from the Thailand Convention & Exhibi-
tion Bureau (TCEB)’s MICE Capabilities Development Department.

This committee is responsible for gathering Buyer RFPs (requests
for proposals), which are circulated to members in the form of sales
leads. The leads are typically generated by TICA’s involvement with
local associations in organising international and domestic events.
The committee also works closely with the Marketing Committee
Chairperson in obtaining sales leads from both local and international buyers,
Kritsana Janyasakulwong for example corporate executives and trade buyers.
