1.1 asia Convention alliance association forum (aCaaf) 2023

• ACAAF 2023 Bangkok, under the theme of “Alliance of Actions: Drive Real Changes Now”,
is set to redefine industry standards by fostering meaningful connections, promoting business-driven
excellence, and facilitating goal-oriented discussions. This unique gathering has brought together a
selected group of distinguished guests including associations from Malaysia, Taiwan, seoul,
and Thailand.
• This inaugural event was held on Saturday 11 November 2023, at the Queen Sirikit National
Convention Center (QsNCC), a day prior to the ICCA Congress 2023 in Bangkok.
• The event comprised a keynote session and 3 expert talk sessions.
• Convention Task Force were invited to attend this event.

1.2. special knowledge - sharing session for C & Mi (15 november 2023)
• Representatives from TCEB in Australia and Europe have provided valuable insights into the
conventions industry within these two prospective markets
• Alex Donaldson, Associate Director of Sales at IMEX Group, shared insights on maximising
opportunities when participating in IMEX shows.
