In the past few years, the Kingdom of Thailand has continued
to flourish as a destination for all types of MICE events, thanks to
its unparalleled connectivity and accessibility, diverse natural
landscapes, value for money and world-famous hospitality.
As a result, we are incredibly pleased to be presenting you with
this edition of TICA’s MICE Guide to Thailand, which we are confident
will act as an invaluable source of information for all stakeholders
involved in the MICE hospitality and business sphere.

In this in-depth print and online platform, MICE planners will
find comprehensive listings for world-class venues, ranging from
hotels of all budgets to convention centres that are capable of
accommodating events of all styles and sizes. The guide also
features information about the country’s many professional and
experienced DMCs and EMCs who can offer important insight when
planning the perfect event. In an upgrade from last year’s edition,
we have added some new and exciting sections that cover topics
such as unexpected venues to host events, up and coming destina-
tions for MICE, unique activities for incentive travel and much more.

As for TICA’s continued efforts, we believe that success is built President
from the ground up. And so, we provide access to education and

understand the ins and outs of the MICE industry. Many of our
senior executives are also more than willing to sacrifice their time
to share their expertise with those who wish to further develop their
skills. Other projects include training and networking to ensure that
local professionals are as equipped as possible to assist
corporations and planners in achieving the event they envision,
as well as providing these individuals with exhaustive information
through our website’s digital portal. An insight on the
state of the industry
We believe Thailand is in an advantageous position to grow into a
leading MICE destination because of a variety of factors, including
the professionalism of individuals involved in the business and
hospitality sphere, the continued planning and development of
event venues and convention centres in large cities and secondary
destinations, and increased accessibility through the establishment
of new airport facilities and ground transport routes. As an associa-
tion we look forward to seeing what is to come for this burgeoning
industry in the near future and we hope this publication demon-
strates the high standard that our country can deliver.
