It gives me profound pleasure to present the TICA Membership Directory
2016-2017 edition. This informative directory, produced in both print and
digital versions, is a comprehensive listing of highly professional companies
involved in the meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE)
sector, one of Thailand’s most promising market segments.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recognizes the
long-standing contribution of the Thailand Incentive and Convention
Association (TICA) and its members in helping to raise industry standards
and delivering quality services, which have made Thailand to be one of
the world’s most desirable and popular MICE destinations.
TAT’s strategy to enhance the image of the Kingdom as a “Quality
Leisure Destination through Thainess” will be strengthened by attracting
more MICE delegates. It will also strive to ensure a balance between
visitor arrivals and the social and environment impacts.
With the ASEAN Integrated Community now a reality, the Royal
Thai Government is investing to upgrade the Kingdom’s transport and
telecommunications infrastructure. This improved connectivity will make
it much easier for MICE delegates to organise and attend events in Thailand,
especially in the provincial areas.
Once again, on behalf of TAT, I would like to offer my sincere
compliments to the TICA for publishing this highly informative guide. I am Yuthasak Supasorn
certain that all MICE stakeholders will truly benefit from this publication Governor
