WHY THAILAND

Thailand is renowned as the ‘Land of Smiles’ and
has a multitude of attractions and qualities to lure
investors, commercial organisations, tourists and
visitors alike to its sun kissed shores.

It is a country of amazing diversity, whether you look
North, South, East or West , with a range of great
destinations to appeal to all tastes and needs.

Bangkok is the capital of Thailand, and home to some
ten million people. It embraces a fascinating mix of
cultures and exotic mystery, from its famous temples,
to its jaw dropping selection of shopping, restaurants
and entertainment.

Superb transport links ensure that in only a couple
of hours by road you will find the party and beach city
of Pattaya. Take another route, however, and you will
arrive in the tranquil and revered royal beach resort of
Hua Hin.
Head to the north and marvel at the mountainous
terrain of historic Chiang Mai and its awesome
architectural legacy. Turn your eyes to the northeast
and savour the natural splendor of the Mekong Delta,
the remains of the ancient Khmer empire. Gaze too at
the verdant green rice paddy fields.
Deep jungles dominate in the west along the border
with Myanmar and the inspirational River Kwai. Travel
south and take in jaw dropping beaches, sparkling
seas, tropical palms and dreamy islands.
Supporting these spectacular ingredients is a vast
service industry that gives organisers and planners a
multitude of choices when it comes to deciding which
hotels and venues.
Solid logistics in addition to a strong physical
infrastructure is one of the key reasons why the
meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions
sector inside Thailand has been expanding considerably
over the past few years. It follows that the Kingdom
can now supply so much to the whole gamut of MICE
business.

An integrated network of regional airports, serviced
either by Thai Airways, or by numerous independent
airlines, is another strength. In addition, excellent road
links provide an excellent transport infrastructure.

experts. All this makes Thailand the envy of many
other countries around the world.
